LernBar auf der Online Educa 2015

“Shaping the Future of Learning” lautet das Motto der diesjährigen Online Educa Berlin (OEB 2015) die vom 2. bis 4. Dezember in Berlin stattfindet.

The presentation focuses on the authoring tool ‘LernBar’. With this tool, teachers are able to produce Web-Based Trainings (WBTs) without any programming knowledge and without further training. The contents produced with ‘LernBar’ can be displayed in every modern web browser because of the implementation in HTML 5. The learner can also easily navigate and has various possibilities for interaction. The special feature of the Release 4.1 of the ‘LernBar’ is that it supports responsive design, which means that any content can be displayed on any device (tablet, smartphone, laptop or desktop PC). This is a meaningful didactical addon for teachers and authors working with mobile scenarios.

‘LernBar’ supports the author over the whole authoring process, e.g. storyboard templates (these can be directly imported in the authoring tool), style templates for content pages, exercises and assessments with eight question types and support for integration of various media types.

The contents can easily be distributed with the “Lernbar-Portal”, a corresponding platform. In any case, the contents can also be distributed with a learning management system (LMS). The Release 4.1 supports also the Tin Can API, the next generation of SCORM.
