28.02.2024

The first FFF network meeting took place on 28 February 2024 via ZOOM. Forty-one researchers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated.

The meeting began with a welcome and an introduction to the origins and reasons of founding the FFF network. This was followed by a keynote presentation on current developments in research on early foreign language learning. Afterwards, the goals of the FFF network were discussed, and participants introduced themselves. The group then exchanged ideas on concepts for networking and shared their expectations and wishes for the network’s future.

During the first FFF network meeting, thematic research groups were formed, which now meet regularly (see FFF Research Groups)
