The seminar is followed by a practicum where the outputs of the theoretical reflection are tested in practice. The practice consists of the simple corporeal exercises and their individual and collective reflection. The question of the linguistic aspects of body and the corporeal aspects of language is encountered in practice. The question of mediality is discussed from the point of view of the performing body (cf. Samuel Weber). To which extent and in which ways can a performing body turn into a medium of research? The questions rised in the practicum will be returned in the seminar.
Altogether, the seminar and the practicum will constitute a methodological demonstration of how artistic research can take place in practice and how it can create new kinds of links between performance and philosophy.
